Our Mission

We are an international religious institute in which contemplation and apostolic life are so interwoven that each gives life to the other.  In fidelity to the charism of St Angela, we make our own the twofold love which inspired her to give herself entirely to the service of God and her neighbour.

Many Ursulines in England were teachers.  These days we work to promote justice, peace, and the integrity of creation.  We live and work alongside the poor and marginalized. Some of us are catechists, spiritual guides, retreat givers and work in parishes.  Inspired by the words of Pope Francis at the audience during the General Chapter in 2019, we desire to live the spirit of encounter and approach others with the intention of seeking their good.

Have hope and firm faith in God for he will help you in every way.
